Book Design - Thoughts on Typography & Layout
This assignment is a book design for "Typography & Print (2681QCA)", a second year design class for the Graphic Design & Communication major.
Students were tasked to design and typeset a book design based on essays and extracts based on the theme of typography and layout; these were written by Ellen Lupton, David Frej, Katherine McCoy, Josef Müller-Brockmann, and Beatrice Warde. The intended audience for this book are visual designers and students who are passionate about typography. Additionally, students were recommended to use the print-on-demand service Blurb to print the book professionally.
